Why do I need to upgrade My Vonage Mobile application?

There are two changes to the Vonage Mobile application which enhance the user experience for Customers who wish to use the Vonage World Mobile Service. The upgrade will:

  1. Ensure Vonage World Mobile customers can make calls even if your e-wallet balance is at $0.00.
  2. Remove low balance and zero balance e-wallet notifications when making Vonage World Mobile calls. Otherwise, you will still be able to make calls using the application, but will be prompted with the reminder even if the call is included in the World Mobile plan.

Once the latest version of the application is installed on your device, you will no longer have any of the above issues.

If you have an iPhone® or iPod touch®, you can download the upgraded version of the application directly from the Apple iTunes store, or access the upgrade the next time you sync your device.

If you have a Blackberry®, please go to vonagemobile.com/get_app/ and enter your mobile phone number. You will receive an SMS message with a link to download the upgraded version of the application.
